For this assignment, we were to create a lighting show set to a song of our choice, focused on a prop of our choice. I picked Elegia by New Order and my mother's Barbie Dreamhouse, and aimed to create an emotive narrative that flowed seamlessly between beginning, middle, and end. I set up new lights on the lighting grid, applied gels to them, and programmed the show onto the light board. The previous class record for most amount of lighting cues for this project was 31-- I beat that with 178 lighting cues.
